Another year, another... WAIT!
Okay, so I'm going on my first overseas trip at the end of March! I'm going to Taiwan and Japan for the entire month of April with the Wayfarers! Its a choir that is associated with Steiner/Waldorf Schools from all around the world. We sing all different types of songs, from gospel to baroque, pop, Celtic, and many other genres that I can't quite remember. As well as that, we're performing an opera that Judith Clingan (who is taking us) wrote, called 'Marco', based on the stories of Marco Polo and his family as they traveled to Mongolia and back. It's so awesome, and I get to sing a small role, of Marco's mother, Maria.
AAAAAAAND...
If I get some money together properly, I'm going to spend some time over in Scotland too. Around three months, if I can. I've... met someone. Technically I've been talking to him online for about five years or so, and we've become super close in the last six months. When he asked me if I could come visit, we worked it out and its very, very do-able! We're both saving like crazy, and when I get back from Japan, I'll be having a concert to help pay back the money I borrowed to go on the Asia trip. Maybe... just maybe, I will have a bit over to put towards going to Scotland...
So things are starting to look up for me. And on top of that, the quartet I mentioned last entry, Karisma, will be recording soon. Maybe we'll get somewhere with that. Who knows. Will be a little different if I decide to stay in Edinburgh though...
Anyway... I will get back into writing one of these days. I promise. I just need to have something passionate to write about...

Back? Maybe...
Greetings, Mortals!
Ha, kidding. Hello everyone! I think I'm going to be around here more often. All this COVID-19 business has made people like me go back and look at their online lives. I've discovered I've missed this community...
So... I may be back for a little while. Can't guarantee anything of quality right now, as life outside my computer is pretty crappy at the moment, but you never know what might pop out of my head randomly.
I wish you all safe and warm wishes and hope that all is well with you and yours.
*e-hugs to all*

Okay, where did 2014 get to?
Writing on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 instead of my laptop for a change.
So, what happened to 2014? Last thing I remember is being in Taiwan and Japan in April, then somehow it was October, and I turned 32. Now, it's February 2015!
Trying to think if I have any exciting news. I was asked to audition for a local vocal group, only 4 or 5 voices. That's probably the most exciting bit of news I have.
Maybe we could sing something that a dA person has written? Who knows. (with their permission of course)
Now that I have the mobile app on my Tablet, I'll be able to stay in contact ith the dA community a lot more.
And who knows, I may start wr
Mini-update of My Life
So many thoughts going around in my head right now... like, what to write, how long to write, etc.
Main things:
- As of last year, I completed 10 of 15 units of a Cert III in Aged Care course. Currently, I'm completing the other 5 units.
- I am now the Choir Manager, Public Officer and Assistant Conductor for the North Coast Performing Arts Association ( ncpaa.org.au ) and we have a concert next month, on Sept 22... Karl Jenkins' "The Armed Man: A Mass For Peace" ... it's the International Day of Peace that day, so that worked out well. I have a solo there too. Should be good.
- Have joined a quartet called Karisma. It's based in Sydney (

Well... let's see...
Happy post-Easter! I hope the Easter Bunny brought you lots of yummy chocolate (or if you're allergic, some fluffy bunnies and egg candies!)
This year was a little different. Last year was more of a blur, cos we'd just lost Nan and didn't know what to do. So this year, we tried to get it like it used to be. But... you know what its like, kids and chocolate, and full bellies from the yummy foodstuffs we had for lunch = anarchy!
It really wasn't too bad.
As for my poetry and other things, I haven't had the urge to write anything. I am unsure what's going on. I used to write heaps in my notebooks, and in my iPod and ever
